Dell has previewed Latitude ONTM technology. This technology will help users to instantly access email, calendar and internet with out booting the main operating system.
It uses an embedded secondary processor and its own dedicated operating system based on Linux OS.
Dell is launching this technology with its two new laptop models, Latitude E4200 and E4300 laptops.
Certainly it will improve battery life because user will not have to wait for the system to boot and shut down to use basic task such as email or internet.
