Happy Hour

in Fun,Personal

Today after the day’s work WE (Punita, JaiP, and the New Media Team) went to our favorite hang-out, the Golden Dragon, a 10-minute-walk from our office. It was a party in honor of our ex-colleague, Manik Chauhan, who gracefully headed the New Media team for seven years. He is in town these days, but will be flying back to London next Sunday. The party started with a casual discussion of our works and then to various topics, from dining table manners to people’s attitude. However, after gulping two-three glasses of wine by each of us, we became intrepid and then the topic drifted to one’s personal (mis)adventures. Also, we had a hearty laugh at Manik’s humor. This, of course, is another trait of Manik for which we see girls flocking around Manik.

It was also a special day because Narender joined us who usually skips all-male parties.

Manik is a very important part of my life. He always encourage people, and advocates hard work as instrumental to one’s success in life. He helped me a lot to achieve the position where I am today. I joined Rough Guides New Media team as a DTP designer and now I am New Media Technical coordinator.
