GMAIL even more secure

Gmail supports secure connection (https protocol) but it wasn’t default. Gmail uses HTTPS while login but once you are in the mail it uses HTTP instead of HTTPS untill you append HTTPS in the URL https://mail.google.com instead of http://mail.google.com).

Google has added a new feature so that you can turn secure connect to default. To turn HTTPS to default, go to setting of your gmail and in the bottom of General tab you can find the option.

Note: https can make your mail slower. Your computer has to do extra work to decrypt all that data, and encrypted data doesn’t travel across the internet as efficiently as unencrypted data.
